How do you diagnose and treat
Apnea and Hypopnea Sleep Syndrome?

It is easy to diagnose and treat. Makke an appointment with your doctor who will ask to carry out a Nocturnal Polysomnography with Oximetry (Study of Sleep) that will allow him or her to establish the diagnosis and prescribe the appropriate treatment.

Nocturnal polysomnography with oximetry

Nocturnal polysomnography with oximetry is the study indicated to find out how we sleep. It allows us to evaluate the quality of our sleep, detect and diagnose, in most cases, if we have any of the various diseases that occur during sleep.

Nocturnal polysomnography with oximetry allows us to diagnose Apnea and Hypopnea Sleep Syndrome, one of today's more prevalent respiratory sleep disorders which affects a large number of people, both men and women, around the world whose main nocturnal symptom is the annoying SNORING, which wakes your partner in bed, it is heard from nearby rooms and often interrupts your sleep during the night every night; as well as increased tiredness during the day known as EXCESSIVE DAYTIME TIREDNESS which constitutes as the main daytime symptom

Once the diagnosis is done, Nocturnal Polysomnography with Oximetry also allows the physician to determine the appropriate treatment and carry out regular checkups

It is a painless, non-invasive, easy-to-perform study which is key in preventing various complications such as Cerebrovascular Accidents (CVA), Myocardial Heart Attacks and Male Impotence, among others.
